Set up SMTP

You can set up all emails to your leads to come from you, rather than from Riddle. You can configure one SMTP server per project.

  1. In Riddle, click on the settings icon in the top right corner.
  2. Go to CUSTOM MESSAGING and click on Company data for e-mails.
    This is required by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 before sending out emails to your leads.

  3. Fill out all fields.

  4. Click on SAVE CHANGES.
  5. In the menu on the left, click on SMTP.

  6. Click on Advanced settings (port & encryption mode).
  7. Enter your email in the Username field.
  8. Enter your password in the Password field.
  9. Enter your email server's host name in the Host field.
  10. Enter the host, port, and encryption information. Here is a list of the most common SMTP information:

  11. Enter the email and name you would like to be displayed in the emails in the "From" email and "From" name fields.

  12. Click on SAVE SMTP GATEWAY SETTINGS.
  13. You will receive a test email.
