Quiz right and wrong answers

Control how your audience receives feedback after each question. These quiz-specific settings only appear in the quiz format and let you toggle visual indicators, right/wrong messages, and live score tracking.

  1. Go to the Settings section and click on Quiz: Right/wrong answer settings.
go to quiz right wrong settings
  2. Enable the Right/wrong indicators for your audience to see their right and wrong answers marked after they have given their answer and then select one or more of the options below.
    enable right wrong
  3. Enable Visual indicators to see a tick or a cross for correct and incorrect answers respectively displayed on the right of the answers.
    enable visual indicators
  4. Enable Display visuals briefly to make the indicators appear only briefly. This gives quick feedback without slowing down the quiz flow — recommended when auto-advance is enabled.
    display visuals briefly
  5. Enable Right/wrong message for the audience to see a 'Right' or 'Wrong' banner pop up below the answers. This is more prominent than visual indicators alone — combine both for maximum clarity, or use only indicators for a subtler experience.
    enable right wrong messages
  6. Enable Display user's current score (off by default) to show the score your audience achieved up to the current block. This adds a score visualization to the Riddle's pagination area. You can choose to:
    • Show/hide it on the result page
    • Show it only on question blocks — recommended so the score does not appear on forms or content blocks
    • Show score as total points or percentage of total — use percentage for quizzes with varying points per question, total points when all questions are weighted equally

Tips

  • For educational quizzes, keep Right/wrong indicators and Right/wrong messages both enabled — immediate feedback helps learning.
  • For competitive quizzes or leaderboards, consider disabling indicators so participants cannot share correct answers with others.
  • Enable Display user's current score for longer quizzes (10+ questions) to keep your audience motivated throughout.
