ATTRIBUTES

Hello everyone, welcome back. In this step we’re going to look at attributes. The first thing to say about attributes is that they are an optional extra. You can have a perfectly functioning, effective personality quiz without attributes. So you don’t need them, but you’re more than welcome to use them. So what are attributes? They are characteristics or elements that can apply across all your personalities. They provide another level of information about your audience and for your audience and yet they do not have to be connected in any specific way to your personalities. The two separate elements that you’re measuring here via the questions that you give your audience. So let’s go back to our car quiz example to see how it’s set up.

Here was the result page for our car quiz with a personality and in our creator we had the four personalities here for the results and now for attributes we scroll down and here very similarly to personalities we have a list of attributes. I’ve added three and As with personalities, you can always click on add an attribute like we did with add another personality above. For each, I’ve got an image, a title and a short description. Again, very similar to personality. Once you have that, we need to look at the scoring. This works in the same way as for personalities. So let’s take an example. Let’s take this question here. Again, scroll down to edit scoring. We had our column for personalities and here’s the tab for attributes.

And as you did for personalities, you can now assign points for each answer that your audience give to the attributes that you have running along the top. So for example, if someone says that style and sophistication is what they want the car to say about them, then you can ramp up the points for style, for example. Perhaps tech has a few points, storage and space probably zero. So you can play with that, work with that, and have two sets of points running alongside each other in the background, which will then give your audience two results on the result page. One a personality and one a winning or more attributes that fit them. So let’s go to that result page now. At the moment, we just have the winning personality.

And now we want to add that attribute element. So click on add and choose attributes. This will be added down here. You can move it up and down, of course, depending on where you want it to be. And that will now show you your audience’s attributes on the result page. You can click on the edit button to choose how many attributes. So maybe you want to show them all of them, or the percentage or the strength via a percentage of that attribute for them. Or perhaps you just want to show them one or two out of your three here. I want to show them all of them with a title and percentage. Okay. And as always, we can also add other elements, whether it’s a CTA button, whether it’s text or media to the result page, if you want to. Okay. That is our attribute setup and that is also the end of our crash course on personality quiz scoring and results. If you have any questions feel free to write to us at academyatriddle. com or on our support chat on our website and thank you very much for joining us on this crash course and I look forward to seeing you in the next one.
