ORDER IT BLOCK

Transcript:
Hello and welcome back to Riddle! In this step, we’re going to be making an order-it question, which is a question like this one here where you have a statement or a question and your audience has to put the answer options into the correct order by dragging and dropping for example. So let’s go into the creator and do this. We need for add a block we need an order it question so now we can copy and paste our oh no that’s one of our answers we want one of our we want our question and um this is the font for an answer but or the font size for an answer we want the title so if it ever does change and you want that default back it’s h1 okay let’s add in an image

take this one here and once we have that image in there of course we want to add in our answer content as always and for this order it question the way it works is that the order that we have here so for example breakfast at tiffany’s is written in first here et second this order that you write in here or that you drag and drop to be in that order is the correct order. So make sure that whatever you have here is the right order to give your audience the correct or to give your audience the point or the points for that question. So we have the Shawshank Redemption next, then Gone Girl. Oh no, missing Erin Brockovich. And that needs to go there. Okay. So let’s take a look at the preview.

Excellent. So as always, we’ll change the options around a bit now. So go into the answer options. Here they are. And I’m happy with everything. I want to change lives to three. And what I’m most concerned with here is the scoring type. So what I’d like is that it’s not 1 . 4 getting the whole question right, it’s one point per correct answer. So every correctly placed option gets a point, which means our max score is 5. Right now what we have is this drag and drop situation. and down but you could also add in arrows so that people can just click if that’s what you’d prefer as well so to do that enable up and down buttons and then you’ve got these buttons here so you can use the arrows so that for some people it might be easier to use the arrows for other people it might be easier to drag and drop they can then use both then you could also enable rank order

And then choose what it should say one two three first second third ABC and so on and that means that in addition to the arrows that we’ve set up we’ve also got a number So that’s up to you if you leave that in shuffle the answers Yeah And what I’d also like to do is show the correct answer button so that if someone doesn’t get the correct answer within those three lives. they can click on show correct answer or show correct order and that will appear so let’s test that now preview and let’s play around with this okay wrong and then for example i could choose again and it’s still wrong put that one back and choose again it’s still wrong and what I’d like to do now is click on show correct order and now I can see that there so it’s a nice alternative or in addition to having an answer explanation there we go we’ve got our order at question so play around with that feel free to write to us at academy at riddle. Come or in the Support Chat if you have any questions, and then I’ll see you in the next video for a different sort of question type.
