Hello and welcome back to Riddle. In this step we’re going to create a Tap and Find block which is where you have a question with an image and your audience have to click or tap on the right point in the image that you set as the correct answer for a challenge or a question. So for this one I’ve set up a picture of a movie theatre with two films advertised in front and the audience has to select or click on the more recent film let’s do this now in your creator click on add a block and select tap and find and i would like the title to be which film is more recent okay and we don’t have a title image instead we just have that central image that will become the main focus of that block under image here so As always, the procedure for adding that image is the same.
So I’m going to type in this and I’d like this image here. Once that’s uploaded, we can then set the hotspot that is the correct answer, so to speak, in that picture. So by default, it appears as a blue circle. I’d like it to be a rectangle so I’m going to change that here and now I can drag and drop it to the right place so you may or may not have known that Captain Marvel is the most recent film so I’m going to just change the sizing okay so that’s where the audience would have to click to get the correct answer and Okay, that’s all I need there. I’ve got the question, got the image, got the hotspot. I could, if I wanted to, add other hotspots.
So you can add as many as you like around that image, but I only need that one. So that’s unnecessary for now. So I’ll just get rid of that second one. Okay. Onto explanations, we can add in as we wish. So let’s add an explanation. Here okay and now again we’ll go into the specific options for a tap and find block, so click on the options symbol and by default as you can see again we’ve got one life or one guess but I’d like three, I’d like to leave it as a heart and And just to show you what you can do, I’m going to write the word guesses here instead of lives to show you that you can also customize that text. I’d like the score to stay one. OK, and if you want, you can enable show correct answer so that your audience can click on the show correct answer button and then be shown where that correct hotspot is if they haven’t managed to guess it already.
Right, the final set of options that we have for our tap and find are the answer explanations. So we put in our explanation there as one for all answers. If you had different hotspots, then you might like to have a different answer explanation for each hotspot or one for right, one for wrong answer. but I’m happy with one for all. And instead of it being a pop-up, again, as we change for the other blocks, I’d like it to be below the question. I don’t need media, which means I’m all set up. Let’s preview. Here we are. And for example, here, okay, it’s wrong. I’ve still got two lives or guesses left. And here, okay, now I’ve got the correct answer and the explanation below it. Okay, that’s the tap and find block. Explore that a little bit if you have any other questions feel free to write to us at academy riddle . com or on a support chat and I’ll see you in the next video.
