In this lesson, we’ll enhance the experience your audience has at the end of the quiz by customizing the result page to reflect your brand and goals. We will:
- look at what’s already automatically created in the results page
- explore how to customize the default winning personality display
- add and edit additional elements like social sharing, call-to-action buttons, and other personalities
- use the results page to guide participants toward your site or product

Hi there, welcome back to Riddle. It’s time for the result page.
You could actually leave your personality quiz exactly as it is now because with the different personalities you set up right at the beginning and with the scoring that you have, you already have a result page that is created automatically in the background using the image, the title, and the description that you created there.
This will then be transferred directly to the result page with that winning personality up here. But of course, we can also customize it a bit.
As you can see, I’ve scrolled down to result page and here is our result page builder. By default, we have the winning personality here and you could click on it and make any edits by clicking on the edit icon. I often like just having the title without the percentage. Or you might want points rather than a percentage. That’s up to you. The other two settings relate to the media or how you want the media to be.
Typically, you would want the winning personality there unless you’re doing the delayed results via email—then you would remove it so there’s no winning personality within the quiz itself.
You can add other elements. The result page is made up of different elements. This is one element. This is the social sharing element, which you can edit by clicking the format or edit button. You can write your own message, for example, “Find out your ideal car,” and send it to friends or colleagues using your chosen social media. By clicking “Add,” you can choose other elements. For example, a CTA button to take your audience to your website. Click edit, and you can add the website link for your car-selling company. Make sure to activate “Open in a new tab” so the quiz doesn’t close. You could change the text to “Browse our other cars,” for example. Even though the winning personality is shown, you can link to your full range of car models.
Another element to add is “Other Personalities.” This means participants can also see the ones they didn’t get. You could leave the percentage in so they can see, for example, they’re a Comfort Cruiser but also 10% Eco-Friendly and 20% Performance. This gives them a full picture of all available car groups.
You can rearrange elements using the buttons below. This is the last thing your audience will see, so it’s worth making the result page positive and useful. You want to leave a lasting impression before they go to your website or receive a follow-up email.
OK, that’s our result page. In the next video, we’ll look at a few global settings for our Riddle as a whole before sending it out into the world. So play around with the result page, and I’ll see you in the next clip for some settings.
