6 Scoring go-through
Now that you’ve learned the basics of quiz scoring, this lesson walks through how to score the remaining questions. We will:
- review scoring for each quiz question
- understand how different scoring patterns impact quiz outcomes
- explore alternative scoring techniques for direct mapping
- handle non-scored questions that support audience segmentation

Hi there, welcome back. This was the scoring we had for our first question. Now let’s take a look at the other questions’ scoring.
For question two, we ended up with this. So again, for each answer option, choose how many points you want to give to correspond to each personality. I ended up with 28 per personality. But it’s up to you. You might think that it has a slightly different correlation and that’s absolutely fine. That’s just what we had here.
And for question three, this is what we ended up with here. And again, some are zero, some are high scores, some are low scores, giving us these nuanced differences again.
I decided to add one more question actually. So there are now four or five questions. I wanted to add one about road trips. So that’s the question. I wanted to add one about what type of trips people do. And I actually added in an extra question because I really wanted four or five questions rather than three or four. And you’ll see what I mean with the all four. I’ve actually added another question here.
So this question here is new since the last video. And it’s about what type of journeys or long journeys people like doing for answer options here. And what you can see here is that I’ve given one high score to each personality for one specific answer.
So this answer here correlates very strongly to comfort. And I’ve left the other zero. Here it correlates strongly to performance, and I’ve left the others at zero, and so on for the others. So I wanted to show you that that’s also another way to do things. Sometimes an answer or question really directs — or the answer options really direct — the mapping to one specific personality, and you can reflect it this way. So that’s something for you to think about as well.
Okay, now our final question here, if you watched the previous videos, is a non-scored question. So even though it’s a question, we aren’t giving it any points. And you don’t have to do anything other than just leave this blank. So it means that although the answers don’t map to a specific personality — because whether it’s new or not doesn’t correspond to these different personalities — it does give you, as a car seller for example in this case, information about your audience.
So you can segment them into two groups, for example, or three groups. And for those who want a new car, those who want a used car, those who don’t mind. And then in your correspondence — in your future correspondence or follow-ups with them after this quiz — you can personalize that or customize that to suit their preference.
So that’s a non-point or non-scored question. That’s all our questions done. And in the next video, we’ll look at adding a form block to our personality quiz.
For now, feel free to ask us if you have any questions as always. And I’ll see you in the next clip.
