Most importantly, whether you're an introvert, extrovert or somewhere in between, you can possess qualities of either and both types of personalities have their strengths and weaknesses. Don't try to change; be yourself and understand that everyone is different!
You could be an Ambivert which means you have qualities of both. You like to be around people, but you also value your alone time afterwards to recharge your batteries. You enjoy going to parties and meeting new people but you also enjoy spending quality time with one person.
