8 Publish and pick the winner
In this video we finalize our raffle. We:
- publish the Riddle
- pick the winner for the raffle
- set up conditions for picking a winner

Hi there, welcome back to Riddle. In this step, we’re going to publish our riddle so that your audience can play it, take part in the raffle, and then we’ll pick the winner. So wherever you are in your creator workspace, if you’ve made any changes, as I did, so I changed the palette to peachy, for example, wherever you are, go to publish, click on publish, and now we can embed our code. Embed code here, get the code. copy that, put it into your website creator, whether it’s WordPress or any other platform. And as long as you’ve whitelisted your domain already, then it will then be there ready for people to play. Feel free to look at the help guide for whitelisting your domain if you aren’t sure how to do that already.
Okay, so now we can look forward to receiving all our entries for our competition. And when you’re ready to pick the winner, we’ll scroll down here under Publish to pick a winner raffle. And I can here click on Draw Winner and it will go through all the different participants. And then at some point, stop, pick one. And this person is your winner. And it will also reveal the details of what that person put in their quiz. Answers they put to all the different questions as well as their details on the form so their name, their email address in this case, and whether they checked the checkbox and also their score and so on here with the timestamp and everything okay, that’s if you just want to pick a winner from everyone who entered but if you want, you can also add some conditions so for example, click on add condition let’s say I want their score
to be greater than or equals to four okay, so then update conditions and I can also exclude the duplicates here so if one person did manage to enter more than once with the same email address then they would be excluded here okay and now I can draw the winner again and the winner is this person here. They have a score of four or more. And again, same details at the bottom there, so I can contact the winner. Here you can also choose how many people you actually want to win. Perhaps you want more than one winner. But I can’t increase this because I only have one lead matching these conditions. So if I delete this again, update conditions. And now if I want to, I can increase the number of draws that I have from my pot of entries. Okay, so we have our raffle from start to end.
