CLOSING DATE

Transcript:
Hi there. For this quiz contest, I now want to set up a closing date. So to do this, go into your settings here and scroll down to set closing date. Enable that and now by clicking on the date, I can select a closing date. So I would like it to be the 28th of February so that I can announce on the 1st of March. So 28th of February, time, let’s say 12 o’clock. Okay, and then it’s there. As soon as we hit this date and this time, the message we just had just now will appear. So if I just change that back so that you can see what would happen. We have this message here that the riddle is now closed, which means that on your website, you don’t have to necessarily take the riddle down or the quiz down.

You can leave it there, but the participants can see that this riddle is now closed. Perhaps that also allows them to see that these sorts of competitions happen in the first place and they’ll come back for a different one another time. So either way, it’s a good idea to have this closing date here. You can also set an opening date. By enabling set open date and setting that up in the same way there. Okay, in the next step, we’ll do a few more finishing touches for our riddle before it goes out into the world. Thank you very much and see you in the next clip.
