SECURITY SETTINGS

Transcript:
Hi there, welcome back! In this final settings video, we’re going to look at the security features. So this is the final section on our settings list and click on the arrow next to ‘security’. And these are our default settings. So we have this ‘play again’ button, which means that especially with a quiz, your audience can try and get a better score the next time, for example. And this might also be a wonderful element to have if you’ve connected your quiz to a leaderboard but you can disable it if it’s a competition that you only want them to take part in once for example and just deactivating that and that play again button has completely gone.

The other security settings here are to limit the number of people that can play per IP address, per browser, and to also create a customized limit if you want so You could enable one vote per browser. So I can only play this once, for example, and won’t be allowed to play that again then. Or I could enable the IP limit. And with an interval of one minute, one hour or one day, I can choose a limitation for how many tries there are. So, for example, let’s say one try per day. And that gives you another added level of security. The final option there is the specific privacy options for YouTube, Vimeo, and X. And by activating those, you can then set a specific privacy text that you might need to have to include for one of these three medias.

Okay, and of course here there’s a privacy text button and then you could add that in. And then if you had any of these social medias on, if you were using them for your riddle, then that would then be activated automatically. Okay, these are all the settings. Any questions, just feel free to write to us at academyatriddle. com or write to us on our support chat. And in the meantime, yeah, have fun setting up your riddle and we’ll look at publishing and embedding your riddle in the next video.
