Hi there, welcome back to Riddle. It’s time for a different sort of block, this time a multi-select block. Here was our single select block and click on next and now here we have a question where your audience can choose more than one answer. So you can see here I’ve set it up so that they can choose three answers maximum. So for example if I try to do a fourth one that doesn’t work because I’ve set it up that way. Okay, let’s go into the creator and build this. Click on add a block and select multi-select. I’m going to copy and paste my question into the title field. Under description, I’m going to write choose up to three. And under answer content, I’ve got six answer options. So I need to click on add an answer. four times and then you can put all my answer options or type all my answer options into the fields here.
Okay. Good. Add an image by clicking on Add Image. Click on the folder or wherever my images are. And I need this image here. Okay, let’s have a look how it’s looking. Good. But right now, you can see that only two options are allowed because that’s the default number of maximum choices. Let’s go into the settings or into the options for a multi-select question and change that. Click on the options symbol on the right and that will open up our panel and scroll down to maximum number of votes allowed. I want to increase that by one so I’m going to change from two to three. That will now mean that it’s like here where I could only select three options But no more than three Okay, if I wanted to I could enable unlimited choices and that would mean that there is no limit.
I could technically Click on all of these answer options and submit them But I want to have that limit of three as with a single select question. You could also enable other answer option and And then your audience can input their own answer to this question. So you could type in dogs, plants and good colleagues, for example. And I can’t select four because I’ve been capped, but I’ve got those three choices there. Good. Let’s go through a few other options as well for a multi-select. So as with other poll blocks, it’s set to required by default. I want the audience to have to answer this question. Happy with the media ratio. I don’t have answer media or description. That’s fine. But I do want to shuffle the answers.
So they always get randomized every time it’s played or done this poll. We talked about the choices and I’m happy with the way the answers are laid out as a stack rather than next to each other. Let’s just preview that one more time, okay great! In the next clip, we’ll go into a different sort of poll question, but for now, if you have any other questions, feel free to write to us at academy@riddle. com or in our support chat on our website and see you in the next one.
