- whitelist your website
- get your embed code
Transcript:
Hello everyone, in this video we’re going to embed your riddle. There are two parts to this. The first part is whitelisting your domain and the second part is copying and pasting the embed code. For whitelisting, you can see here on the publish page that we haven’t linked any domains to the account yet. So we need to add the website where you’re going to be embedding your riddle so that no one can copy your riddle and use it as their own work. So to do this, click on the arrow top left here and then go into your account settings. So click on that settings icon top right and go to Add and Edit Domains. You can see here I don’t have any domains.
So click on add new domain and write the name of your website here without any of the extra letters in front of it. So just myhomepage. com or riddle. com, whatever your website is. Click on create and it will now automatically appear under that domain list and we can now embed the riddle. So go back to your riddles. Click on edit riddle for the one that you want to embed. Go back to publish and on the left hand side click on embed here. and now get the code. This is the code we need so copy it and then paste it into your website creating publisher such as WordPress and wherever you paste it that placeholder will be the riddle on your website. So you’ve created, you’ve edited, you’ve customized and published and now embedded your riddle. If you have any other questions, then feel free to write to us at academy at riddle . com or on the support chat on our website. And in the meantime, enjoy creating other content and thank you very much.
