Hello and welcome back to Riddle. Well done for doing the bulk of work with your questions and answers. In this step we’re going to add a form into your Riddle. You can collect all sorts of information using a form but in this situation we’re imagining that it’s a competition to win a weekend getaway in a campervan and so the information that I’d like to collect from my audience is or would be their name, where they’d like to go in the world with a drop down menu and their email address. So let’s make this. Go into your riddle and click on add a block, as always. And under forms, click on make a form. Our title can go in the title field. Let’s add an image.
I typed in camper van to find this picture of a camper van on the beach. And once that’s uploaded into your riddle, we can finalize the form information. By default, in a MakerForm block, you already have name and email address, and so we only need to add the country field. To do this, click on Add Form Block here, scroll down, and select Country Selector. Okay. Looking at the preview, everything is there but I’d like to change the word country to a different label and maybe also put country in between name and email so it’s a different order. To do this, click on the edit icon next to where would you like to go and I’m going to get rid of the word country and type in where would you like to go.
Click on save and to change the order you can Click, drag and drop on the six dots on the left of that field here. Okay, move that around. Let’s preview that again. And there we have it, our form, ready for the end of our riddle. In the next step, we’re going to make the result pages for your audience that they see after taking the riddle and filling in the form block. So feel free to play around with what we’ve done so far. If you have any other questions, then just write to us at academyatriddle. com or on the support chat on our website. And I’ll see you in the next video.
