Nada’s boss has just finished giving her feedback on a presentation that she did. Her boss named some good parts of the presentation, but the feedback wasn’t as positive as Nada had hoped it would be. Nada thanks her boss but she is visibly disappointed. She is feeling a little jaded. She asks her boss “But the presentation wasn’t all bad, right?”
Avantika goes to her manager and asks for some feedback on her latest report. It was on a new subject area and she knows that it was not her best work. She is desperate for guidance on how she can improve it. Her manager misreads the situation and just says “Considering how long you have been working in this team, you are doing better than expected”. Avantika leaves and wonders how this will help her improve for next time.
Leo is the newest member of his team. Things seem to be going well. He clearly has the least experience on the team and this is fine but he is slightly concerned about whether or not he is performing at the level expected of him.
